Monument Finishes
Monument finishes refers to the texture of the sides or “faces” of the memorial. Traditional upright monuments have 5 sides; a Front, Back, Left end, Right end, and Top. The three most common finishes are Polished, Steeled and Rock Pitch.

Steeled 2 Rock Pitch 3 VS Polished 2 Rock Pitch 3
Steeled 2 sides and Polished 2 sides refers to the finish of the Front and Back faces of the Monument.
Rock Pitch 3 sides refers to the finish on the Top and Left & Right sides.
Polished 3 & Steeled 3 monuments w/ Rock Pitch 2 sides
Monuments with a Polished or Steeled 3 sides finish incorporates the Top with the Front and Back finish.
Polished 5 and Steeled 5 monuments
Polished 5 sides or Steeled 5 sides refers to the Front, Back, Top and Sides all have the same finish.
Rock 5 and Natural
Rock 5 Monuments will have defined corners and edges yet still maintain a ruff natural look on all 5 sides.
Natural Boulders are ruff in nature and have no true definition until a memorial vision is applied to them.
